How to Use Cartpo as a POS Cash Register
Learn Cartpo POS: quick amount vs catalog, Direct vs Cash, change due, offline sales, and WhatsApp receipts.
- Steps at a glance
- 1. Open the Calculator tabUse the home/Calculator tab for quick amount sales, or Dashboard for catalog checkout.
- 2. Enter the saleType the total or build a cart, then choose Direct or Cash.
- 3. Complete paymentFor cash, use the denomination pad and change due. For Direct, pick the method and confirm money arrived.
- 4. Finish and optionally share a receiptOn Sale complete, start a new sale or send a receipt via WhatsApp, Email, or Share.

Cartpo’s phone register is built for busy counters: ring fast, split cash vs Direct, and keep a day total you can trust.
Quick amount (Calculator tab)
- Open the Calculator (home) tab.
- Enter the sale total on the keypad.
- Toggle Direct or Cash.
- Tap Next and follow payment screens.
Catalog checkout (Dashboard tab)
- Open Dashboard and tap products into the cart.
- Open Checkout → continue to payment (cart total).
- Choose Direct or Cash and finish the sale.

Cash collection & change due
On Cash, tap note denominations until the received amount matches or exceeds the total. If overpaid, Cartpo shows Change Due so you return the right amount. You can edit denomination rows for your currency from the cash collection screen.

Discount QR step
If your shop has discounts configured, you may see Discount? — scan the customer’s iHolda QR or tap Skip.

Offline & receipts
- Offline: basic sales can queue; watch pending sync on Profile.
- Receipts: Sale complete → WhatsApp / Email / Share.
