TikTok Live Selling in Nigeria Without TikTok Shop: a Practical Ops Guide
How Nigerian sellers can run TikTok Live without TikTok Shop — pin payment info, protect stock, log every win, and keep a merchant order inbox.

Nigerian sellers pack TikTok Live rooms with demand — then lose the sale in the scramble after “send your account.” Without TikTok Shop, you need an ops script as much as a camera script.
Before you go live
- Pick 5–15 SKUs max for one session — overload kills fulfillment.
- Set clear prices (or auction start/reserve) in your catalog.
- Confirm stock for each item; hide or pause what you cannot ship.
- Write payment rules on a note you will pin: bank/MoMo name, what counts as paid, how long a hold lasts.
- Decide who accepts orders in the inbox while you host (or pause between items).

During the live
- One item at a time when stock is low.
- Repeat the payment rule every few minutes — new viewers join mid-stream.
- Do not promise a unit until payment is confirmed in your bank/MoMo app.
- When paid, create or complete the order immediately — do not “remember later.”
After the live (15 minutes)
- Match transfers to order lines; cancel unpaid holds.
- Message buyers with delivery/pickup ETA from the order list — not scattered chats only.
- Ring any walk-in or WhatsApp sales from the same day into the same register.
- Check today’s cash vs direct on Profile before you sleep.
Creators on your live
If a creator hosts or drives buyers, approve them in Creator Partnerships first and set commission. Otherwise you will argue about who “brought” the room.
