Ghana retail runs on cash in the till and MoMo on the phone — often a personal wallet that doubles as the shop account. The close of day fails when those two streams never meet in one total.
Set the rules once
- Shop currency = GHS in Cartpo settings.
- Add a Direct payment method labeled for MoMo (and bank if you use it).
- Decide which MoMo number is “official” for the week — reduce scattered wallets.
- Train: no goodbye until the sale is rung as Cash or Direct.

Personal MoMo to cleaner ops
You do not need perfect merchant onboarding on day one. You need a daily total you trust. Once records are clean for a month, upgrading wallets or adding loyalty becomes easier — and GRA-related record expectations hurt less when you already have a habit (this is not tax advice).
